Thomas A. Conroy

Tom Conroy is Managing Partner of KeyRock Consulting Partners and has over 30 years experience as a private equity investor, management consultant, senior operating executive and commercial banker. As an investor, Tom has broad industry experience from early-stage technology ventures to late-stage consumer products companies.
Tom's practice specialty is business development, strategic marketing, performance improvement and acquisition integration. In addition to his background in venture capital, finance and banking, he has extensive domestic and foreign operating experience. Tom has forged distribution and co-marketing alliances throughout Europe and Asia and has deep experience managing global supply chains and distributor networks.
Among current assignments, Tom is leading the development of a new tech nology and associated business unit for a global consumer goods conglomerate. This new Division is part of a growth strategy with dramatic expansion in all trade channels and geographic markets. Complementing a well-established, domestic retail footprint (600 stores), additional focus on consumer direct, wholesale distribution and international expansion is generating double digit growth.
Most recently, Tom was Chief Executive Officer of ScentAir Technologies, Inc., the world's leading provider of commercial scent solutions, sponsored by a CT-based private equity group. Prior to ScentAir, Tom led the development of eight technology companies as part of Next Generation Ventures. He is a Board member of several technology companies and a consumer products company in the gourmet food industry.
His professional experience includes a range of executive roles with Olin Corporation. While at Olin, he led the consumer products division of HTH - Water Chemicals after completing a three-year assignment as General Manager of Olin Australia LTD in Geelong, Victoria.
Tom is a graduate of Villanova University (BA Economics with concentration in Finance) and attended Advanced Management Programs in Competition and Strategy at Harvard Business School.
